Description

• Work on a full stack of ReactJS/NodeJS/PostgreSQL and messaging/microservices architecture. • Improve systems/UI with frontend and backend practice leads. • Enhance software development processes at Nearmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience. • Experience with building and maintaining highly scalable systems, including messaging, microservices, and relational databases. • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and NodeJS. • Experience with ReactJS is a big plus. • Experience in relational databases; PostgreSQL and PostGIS experience is a big plus, but not required. • Experience with C# and .NET is a plus. • Experience working with Kubernetes is a plus. • Experience working with third party SDKs and Web Services. • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills. • Positive self-starter. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Customer service focus, both internal and external. • Relevant degree or certifications desirable.
