📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • An Account and Finance Intern will have the opportunity and be responsible to participate in the foundational work of development and implementation of policies and practices for finance management and accounting which are not limited to financial analysis, accounting and payroll, impact measurement, impact investment and business development. • The intern can practically apply his / her theoretical knowledge of financial laws, investment and strategic management in our company. • Intern will be reporting directly to Managing Director, MHG and Legal & Corporate Governance Director. • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Financial Analyst Collaborate to collect operational and market data for financial analysis. • Prepare financial data with forecasts and plans to determine current and future financial condition. • Identify trends and variances from the data. • Deliver a unique recommendation to ensure cost and operational efficiency. • Compile a comprehensive report of results and recommendation to be proposed to the management. • Gather and analyze data on consumers, competitors, eCommerce and CSR/SDG trends and recommend the best possible action for the company. • Accounting & Payroll Bookkeeping of all of the company’s past and current transactions. • Prepare periodical financial reports. • Reconciliation of account receivables and payables, banks, bill payments or inventories. • Prepare forecasts and control budgets to manage expenses. • Assist Health Administration department to prepare and issue quotation, invoices and receipts to customers. • Assist Health Administration department to maintain customer and care recipient’s medical, billing and payment records and ensure they are kept up to date. • Assist Gig Economy department to prepare and manage payroll documentation and payment. • Auditing Document Business Process Flow or SOP for auditing purposes. • Apply auditing technique to help monitor and review the performance of the departments. • Record the finding and propose recommendation to minimize risk and maximize effectiveness. • Impact Measurement Prepare KPI and Deliverables dashboards and ensure they are at par or beyond MEDEC’s Impact Measurement template. • Ensuring impact deliverables are consistently updated in Neno’s Profile and website. • Impact Investment Assist in the industry and company’s research. • Prepare financial model and valuation of company in the event of mergers and acquisitions or raising capital. • Business Development Register MOF Procurement, PPISK, HRDC Training Provider and MoH Hospice. • Prepare business proposals and attend meetings with stakeholders. • Help in arranging meetings and presentations, including writing the minute of the meeting.

🎯 Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Business Management / Accounting / Finance or related field. • Physically fit and able to go mobile with own transportation. • Attention to detail, reliable, able to work in a team and in a high demand environment. • Be a results-driven achiever with excellent organizational skills. • Expertise in numbers and good math skills are very important. • Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications. • Must have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis. • Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form. • Should have good written and oral communication skills. • Other skills required are related to problem solving, entering and verifying data, knowledge of computers, various software applications and standard office equipment. • Proficient with Microsoft, Google, Zoho One and Canva.
