Description

• A Senior Google Cloud Engineer at Nerdery is responsible for managing and implementing Google Cloud technology for our customers. • They design, develop, and manage robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic cloud solutions to drive business objectives. • They also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technical best practices, while continuously optimizing cloud services. • They are also responsible for driving deployment automation, developing infrastructure as code and scripts, and implementing necessary tools and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience within the software industry required • 3+ years of professional experience with GCP required • 1-2 years of experience with Terraform • Experience with CI/CD automation required • Experience with ETL/ELT on the GCP platform required • Experience deploying web applications to GCP required • Experience with GCP • Experience with Docker • Experience working in a distributed, agile environment planning and executing on a projects using Agile methodologies • Confident with use of Git for version control • Experience with Dataflow, BigQuery, and Looker
