• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions. • Perform data analysis to support business decisions and identify trends. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions. • Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery. • Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams. • Create detailed documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs. • Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with a strong technical background • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Java) • Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Able to triage breaks, identify where the break is coming from, and work with the proper parties to resolve • Technical writing - able to take notes from developers and apply updates to existing documentation • JIRA familiarity - able to open JIRA tickets for developers when needed and maintain organization within JIRA • Reg reporting/Compliance experience (FINRA, CAT experience a huge plus) • Familiarity with Cucmber or other BDD approach • Familiarity with SQL • Experience with execution and/or order management systems • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
