📋 Description

Building and extending the Discovery & Assurance suite of products, focusing on the Assurance NetBox plugins. • Delivering both closed and open source software. • Work closely with product management to bring ideas to life and deliver a compelling user experience. • Collaborate with the Core Applications Engineering team to create ultimate observability tooling within NetBox. • Work with the Platform Engineering team for seamless integration with NetBox Cloud and Enterprise. • Engage with community members as users and contributors to the project.

🎯 Requirements

Extensive experience in Python and Django. • Skilled in building microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture. • Proficient in Golang and gRPC. • Knowledge of observability, monitoring and instrumentation, such as OpenTelemetry and MQTT • Solid understanding of network infrastructure and related concepts, such as devices and device configurations, networking protocols and layers, and network automation with ansible • Experience in building intuitive admin UI’s using HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Bootstrap, as well as some experience with HTMX. • 3+ years of experience working in a fast paced, SaaS startup environment • Great communication skills, including the ability to write technical specifications with diagrams • Involvement with open source projects as a founder, maintainer or key contributor
