• This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Systems Engineer to further their career by becoming a key member of a dynamic and fast paced sales team. • You will be responsible for pre-sales, post-sales, troubleshooting and partner enablement across Europe, but will have an additional focus across the Nordics region. • This includes the NETGEAR VAR and System Integrator Channel, as well as the Commercial End User. • This is a customer-facing technical account management role that requires a broad range of skills and experience. • An organised, methodical but entrepreneurial approach is essential as you will work autonomously and independently while collaborating with the Nordics & EMEA Sales team, as well as System Engineers across EMEA and Product Line Managers across the company. • If you are a self-starter, who combines excellent technical knowledge, passion and pride in your work with a collaborative, agile approach, then this role is for you.
• Minimum of 5 years general networking industry experience, qualified to degree level or equivalent in a scientific or engineering subject. • One or more of the following Cisco certifications (or equivalent certification) is highly advantageous: • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) • Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) • Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) • Deep understanding of a wide range of networking technologies. We have a broad product range, so a spread of disciplines is needed however detailed knowledge of at least two technologies is essential. • Given the special focus on AV-over-IP transition, expert knowledge in L2/L3 Multicast Networking, especially IGMP is required. • Expert knowledge in at least one other of the following technical areas, Non-critical NAS systems, Enterprise LAN and WAN, Enterprise Security, SMB wireless is essential. • Familiarity with the installation/configuration of popular consumer Operating Systems and hardware platforms such as Microsoft Windows, MACOSX & UNIX/Linux. • Strong problem-solving ability and a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude. • Strong Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and establish positive working relationships at all levels within the organization. • Strong personal presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written. • Action oriented individual with a visible drive for results. • Ambitious and not afraid of the hard work that a thriving company will provide. • Due to the Pan-European nature of this role, fluency in an additional European language (in addition to English) is highly advantageous.
