Description

• Plan and implement new network solutions and improve the efficiency of current networks. • Perform network maintenance tasks, including monitoring for issues, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance. • Implement and manage security solutions to safeguard network integrity and confidentiality. • Work in tandem with ITAM, ITSM, and cybersecurity teams to ensure seamless integration of network services. • Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, topologies, and procedures. • Regularly assess network performance metrics and implement improvement plans. • Liaise with vendors to acquire new technologies and services that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network engineering. • CCNA or CCNP certification is required. • Additional certifications in network security are a plus. • Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. • Proficiency in network protocols, routing and switching, firewalls, and VPNs. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. • Prior experience with federal agencies is advantageous.
