Description
• Design, develop, and implement web applications that are both functional and user-friendly, prioritizing the user experience. • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to conceptualize and bring to life agency-specific digital solutions. • Adhere to federal security standards in all aspects of web development, including data encryption and secure coding practices. • Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance checks to ensure optimal application performance and bug-free delivery. • Utilize version control systems and contribute to the maintenance of code repositories. • Participate in Agile development cycles, sprint planning, and scrum meetings, ensuring timely and high-quality output. • Provide technical support and training to agency personnel, focusing on both front-end and back-end solutions.
Requirements
• Experience working with federal agencies or within government contracting is highly desirable. • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one server-side programming language such as Python, Ruby, or PHP. • Familiarity with database management, particularly SQL or NoSQL databases. • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and content management systems (CMS). • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is required; however, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in web development. • Certifications in Full Stack Web Development, ITIL 4, or SAFe are considered a plus. • U.S. citizenship is mandatory; ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance is required.
