Description

• Responsible for overseeing complex accounting transactions and related projects. • Ensure that high-risk accounts are properly accounted for. • Work closely with FP&A, Content, Technology, and Legal teams to improve accounting processes. • Perform technical accounting research and documentation while updating accounting policies. • Lead the general ledger team responsible for accruals, accounts payable, taxes, and capitalized software. • Enable quality reporting and accounting operations to support business growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and CPA required. • 7+ years of accounting experience with public accounting experience. • 3+ years of people management experience. • Well-versed in technical accounting documentation and providing support for financial statement audit. • Strong understanding of financial reporting and US GAAP with experience in public accounting and/or public company experience. • Skilled in solving problems, making decisions, and sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and information. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, are organized and detail-oriented, thrive on process improvement, clean documentation, and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. • A self-starter, excited to apply knowledge to strengthen financial reporting and controls.
