📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • The Nexodus Internship Program is looking for an innovative Website Designer Intern to assist in developing and maintaining websites for Nexodus and client businesses. • This role offers hands-on experience in web design, coding, and user experience optimization. • Ideal candidates have a strong interest in front-end development and web design principles. • LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP: - Mandatory In-Person Internship Development Session (Once a month in Dallas) - Must be able to work 29 hours per week (3-4 days/wk.), which may include nights and weekends as needed. • JOB FUNCTION: - Website Design & Maintenance: Support the design, development, and maintenance of websites for Nexodus and its clients. • User Experience Optimization: Assist in enhancing the user experience and ensuring mobile responsiveness for websites. • SEO Integration: Implement SEO strategies to improve website visibility and traffic. • Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve website issues, ensuring a seamless online experience for users. • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure design elements align with the overall brand strategy of Nexodus and its clients.
🎯 Requirements
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. • Experience with web design platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace). • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends if needed.
