🎯 Requirements
• 2-4 years in technical editing or a related role. • Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, or Journalism. • Any combination of education and experience that provides required qualifications. • Strong editorial and proofreading skills. • Advanced English language knowledge and proficiency. • Familiarity with US-English style guides (e.g., Microsoft Manual of Style or Chicago). • Detail-oriented and strong analytical thinking. • Ability to work in fully remote, globally distributed team. • Compassionate, constructive communication skills for guiding and mentoring writers. • Preferred: Experience in software, engineering, healthcare, or finance industries. • Experience with topic-based authoring. • Experience with structured authoring tools (DITA, XML). • Knowledge of structured authoring and CMS. • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG, Section 508).
