Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues and make recommendations for improvement • Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and ensure the company's policies align with the latest requirements • Collaborate with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance and provide guidance and training on compliance matters • Investigate any reported compliance violations and recommend necessary actions to resolve the issues • Manage compliance documentation, including filing and record keeping • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field • Proven work experience as a Compliance Specialist or similar role with New Zealand clients • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations • Familiarity with compliance software and tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders • Detail-oriented and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
