📋 Description
• Responsible for providing direction and leadership in the financial planning and management of the bank's strategies • Partner with the business to provide effective financial management, insight, and professional advice to the Executive, Senior leaders, and business teams • Responsible for driving sound strategic financial decision making • Ensure access to critical financial information and provide commercially insightful financial advice • Educate and challenge business leaders to understand and utilize financial information for decision-making, financial stewardship, and performance measurement • Conduct business analysis, financial planning, and reporting to generate business insights and add measurable value • Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost management, and improved margin across the business • Undertake comprehensive modeling and analysis for key projects to provide advice on feasibility and financial impact • Contribute to the flow of communication within the team, actively participating in team meetings and demonstrating a collaborative approach • Responsible for ensuring familiarity with and adherence to internal Client policy and procedures
🎯 Requirements
• Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or equivalent • 10+ years (minimum) finance experience in senior management decision-making, planning, and strategic thinking • Experience in a financial planning and analysis within a large, complex organisation • Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to enhance financial performance • Advanced financial modeling skills and solid systems accounting knowledge/experience • Excellent presentation skills including preparing slides that simply convey key messages • Solid understanding of economic fundamentals • Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, driving collaboration and results • Passionate about always making things better • Collaborative with the ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships • Proactive with plenty of initiative and sound problem solving and decision-making skills • Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills • Excellent organizational skills and ability to respond positively to workflow pressure • Strong analytical, interpretation, and research skills • Good attention to detail
