Description

• Ensure product leaders operate within a scalable cost structure focusing on investment decisions. • Evaluate impact and affordability of product investments to support revenue growth. • Manage the financial evaluation of new products needing incremental Opex and/or Capex. • Provide insightful analysis, reporting, and recommendations to senior leadership on financial implications. • Produce, maintain, and report on product profitability with a standardized allocation methodology. • Play a key role in the financial planning cycle including forecasting and variance analyses. • Support month end close process through review of actual results and journal entries creation. • Prepare and present financial reports to Finance and Senior management highlighting opportunities and risks. • Partner with various groups including IT, Operations, Commercial, Accounting, HR, and Finance to report findings and identify solutions. • Seek continuous improvement of the FP&A function through identification of opportunities across people, processes, and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting. • Prior FP&A Experience (5+ Years). • Extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance. • Deep understanding of the product development process. • Demonstrated experience in supporting Product Development Life Cycle, including financial planning, cost management and investment analysis throughout the development stage. • Significant experience with financial modeling, valuation techniques. • Sound understanding of the media ecosystem including some understanding of Nielsen’s products and services. • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with proven experience leading complex projects. • Must have a strong work ethic, self-motivated work style and a good attention to detail and enjoy a dynamic environment with new challenges and changing work priorities. • Individual contributor and team player with great communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently. • Experience manipulating large data sets and turning them into actionable insights. • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Suite. • SAP Financial systems and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience a plus. • Prior experience with S4Hanna, Workforce Planning and SAC is a plus
