• The Assistant Vice President of Funding will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our funding initiatives. • Driving the development and execution of strategies that support learners’ education. • This executive leadership position demands a visionary with strategic foresight and exceptional communication skills. • The AVP will be responsible for crafting innovative funding models and fostering alignment across departments. • Oversee people management and provide strategic oversight for government and non-government funding functions. • Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to the Directors of government and non-government funding functions. • Develop and implement forward-looking funding strategies that align with the institution's mission and vision. • Analyze trends and data to anticipate future funding needs and challenges. • Facilitate regular strategic discussions to align goals and share insights. • Advocate for and design a future-oriented funding model that addresses the evolving needs of learners and the College through Title IV, private loans, scholarships, and strategic partnerships. • Assess current funding processes to identify areas for enhancement. • Lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall learner experience. • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance funding opportunities and resources. • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding financial aid and funding.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Higher Education, Finance, or a related field. • 10+ years of leadership experience in Business, Higher Education, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in administration or funding strategies, preferably in higher education. • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams and fostering collaboration. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse groups. • Demonstrated strategic thinking abilities and a forward-looking mindset. • Familiarity with financial aid regulations and compliance requirements. • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making. • Experience in developing and implementing innovative funding models. • Understanding of current trends and challenges in higher education funding and financial aid.
• The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations. • New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah is required.
