β’ Founded in 1979, the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) focuses on low-income immigrants' rights. β’ Interns will work on projects ensuring fair access to education, health care, and legal support. β’ Internship provides exposure to legal advocacy and policy analysis in immigrant rights movement. β’ Full-time internship for a minimum of 10 weeks with required hours of 35 per week.
β’ Current 2L law school student in good standing (No undergraduates will be considered). β’ Commitment to NILC's mission of defending and advancing the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their loved ones. β’ Previous experience in the immigrants' rights movement is highly preferred. β’ Strong desire to pursue a career in the public / nonprofit sector.
