Description

• Monitor and analyze security event logs, network traffic, and system activity to identify potential security threats • Assist in incident response efforts, including threat containment, eradication, and recovery • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas for improvement • Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats, including configuration and management of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with Microsoft 365 security best practices • Develop and maintain documentation of security procedures and policies, aligned with ISO27001 and GDPR EU standards • Stay up to date with emerging threats and technologies, recommending security enhancements and improvements • Participate in security awareness training and education initiatives • Manage and analyze vulnerability scan results using vulnerability management tools (e.g., Nessus, Microsoft, Qualys, Rapid 7) • Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk and impact

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a security analyst or related role • Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel • Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces • Familiarity with CIS security controls and other frameworks i.e., NIST • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and GDPR EU compliance requirements • Experience with security monitoring, incident response, and penetration testing • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience with Tenable vulnerability management tools • Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) • Familiarity with cloud security platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
