• Nisum is a leading global digital commerce firm. • Seeking a talented .NET Core Engineer to join our development team. • Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and services built on the .NET Core platform. • Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. • Requires expertise in modern software development practices and delivering efficient, scalable, and secure applications. • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core and other Microsoft technologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust and scalable software solutions. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. • Implement and optimize databases ensuring efficient and secure data storage and retrieval. • Integrate third-party services and APIs into .NET Core applications. • Perform code reviews and debugging to ensure quality and performance. • Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making. • Work within Agile teams, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative development processes. • Ensure application security by implementing best practices. • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues. • Stay up-to-date with trends and technologies in .NET Core and cloud services.

Requirements

• You must reside in Chile or Colombia • Advanced English skills • Experience developing web applications using .NET Core and the .NET Framework. • Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core for building modern web applications and APIs. • Experience with RESTful API design and development using .NET Core. • Proficiency in SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), with experience in writing complex queries and optimizing database interactions. • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, or React) and how they integrate with back-end services. • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and design patterns. • Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies. • Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS for deploying and managing .NET Core applications. • Strong knowledge of security best practices in web development, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in collaborative team environments. • Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). • Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems. • Knowledge of cloud-native development and serverless architecture. • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and test-driven development (TDD). • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD automation. • Experience with Blazor for building interactive web applications.
