📋 Description

• North One is looking for an Engineering Manager to join our high-performing team. • We are a remote-first, venture-backed startup reshaping financial services for small businesses. • Our mission is to build a connected business banking and financial management platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of managing software engineers in a dynamic startup environment as a team lead or direct manager • 4+ years as a software developer working on web products using a modern tech stack (distributed, serverless, microservices, cloud native) • Successful experience building a strong performance culture and coaching developers to do their best work • Experience with multiple flavors of agile, ie. Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, and using agile principles to continually improve execution and team culture • Excellent project management skills, including experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence). Can successfully use data, process, and collaboration to deliver aligned results for the business. • Successful experience balancing priorities between technical debt, KTLO, feature iterations, and new feature delivery. • Strong communicator and collaborator who knows how to connect the dots between departments and stakeholders.
