📋 Description

• North One is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to join our high performing team. • We are a remote-first, venture-backed startup at the heart of the FinTech movement and we’re reshaping financial services and banking for small businesses across America. • North One is a business banking and financial management platform for small businesses across America. • Our mission is to build a connected business banking and financial management platform that lets anyone run a successful small business. • As our Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack, you’ll work with our world-class Engineering team. • You’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, and more.

🎯 Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience building web products, with experience in multiple modern programming languages and frameworks (we use Typescript, ReactJS, NodeJS) • You are comfortable contributing across multiple areas of the development stack, although you may have a preference or specialty in frontend or backend • You have experience working directly with cloud infrastructure and services, such as Google Cloud and/or AWS (we use Lambdas, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Redshift, IAM) • You have a strong understanding of API protocols and best practices • You have experience being a senior member of a team, designing new patterns, breaking down complex requirements, and leading others to accomplish a goal • You get excited working with complex and secure architectures (distributed, stateless) • You enjoy experimentation, including working with urgency, using data to make decisions, and iterating to continuously improve • You are a strong communicator and collaborator who knows how to connect the dots between departments and stakeholders • You have experience working on an Agile scrum team with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc) • You love mentoring junior developers into world class senior devs • You have experience working with an event driven architecture • You have built and maintained GraphQL APIs • You have experience building mobile applications • You have built products at scale in a SaaS, Payments, or FinTech industry
