• Norwest Engineering focuses on exceptional client service through teamwork in civil engineering. • Seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in heavy industrial projects. • Responsible for developing scopes of work and estimating budgets for projects. • Experience in civil engineering design, particularly in grading and stormwater management. • Must have strong communication skills and willingness to travel occasionally for fieldwork. • Commitment to engineering and desire to learn and collaborate as a team member is essential.

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. • Registered professional engineer for at least 1 year with the intent to obtain licenses in other states through reciprocity. • Prior registration in the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) system is a plus. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Strong technical skills, analytical ability, time management, and attention to detail. • Prior work experience with railroads, pipelines, and trenchless installation is a plus. • Familiarity with typical software used in civil engineering (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, vehicle tracking, stormwater modeling, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365 products). • Must be able to develop creative and practical solutions for the unique problems in industry. • Collaborate on best solutions for layout and support, access, future expansion. • Self-motivated individual showing the ability to enthusiastically work in the multi-discipline team setting. • Interest in seeking continuous improvement of personal and team skill set.
