Description

• Formulating technical and specialist requirements to improve our management software • Actively shaping and implementing process optimizations with key users • Testing and accepting developments • Supporting users in the system • Management and maintenance of the IP management system • Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs • Conducting manual tests including functional, system, integration, regression, and acceptance tests • Creating and executing detailed, well-structured test plans and cases based on product requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a patent law firm or industrial patent department • Basic knowledge in IP law, ideally ongoing/completed training as a patent attorney, patent engineer or patent clerk • Understanding of IP processes in law firms and/or industry • Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams • Technical affinity and ability to analyze complex technical and specialist issues, deriving technical requirements for software product development • Quick comprehension and practical implementation skills • High quality awareness • Good command of English and team skills • Desirable additional qualifications: Knowledge of ERPnext or other CRM systems, experience with various IP management systems, knowledge or understanding of programming languages (especially Python, Jinja), experience with agile development methods and common tools (e.g., JIRA)
