Description

• The National Wind Technology Center seeks a graduate intern to design, analyze, and visualize hybrid systems for energy transitions. • Integrate across multiple scales from aerodynamics to electrical dynamics. • Collaborate with NREL researchers on optimization and control strategies and visualization capabilities. • Use simulation tools including FLORIS, LabView, and OpenDSS. • Interest in controls, optimization, visualization, and renewable energy is expected.

Requirements

• Minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average. • Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited institution. • Eligible for an internship period of up to one year. • Applicants must upload official or unofficial transcripts during application process. • A letter of recommendation may be required if selected.
