Description

• Manage partner relationships and support operations for NREL’s international energy portfolio • Lead development of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) plans with DOS • Coordinate with NREL and Department of Energy on review and approvals processes related to DOS funded activities • Oversee budget tracking and financial reporting for DOS programs • Develop and mentor team members while supporting PIs with project management tasks

Requirements

• Relevant PhD or equivalent relevant education/experience • Or, relevant Master's Degree and 3 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience • Or, relevant Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience • Advanced understanding and application of project management principles, concepts, practices and standards • Advanced knowledge of technical field and related disciplines • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, teaming and communication skills • Relevant professional experience in related fields (3-5 years minimum) • Relevant coursework or experience in economics, energy policy, international development, public policy, resilience, regulation, decarbonization, sustainability, and/or climate mitigation • Exceptional writing, presentation, and communication skills • Experience working internationally or with an international focus • Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail
