📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • We are looking for a Freelance Remote UX Writer (UK based client) to join our growing team and help create seamless and engaging user experiences across digital platforms. • As a UX Writer, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and developers to craft clear, concise, and impactful copy that enhances the overall user journey. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, engineers) to create user-focused content for web, mobile, and other digital platforms. • Write clear, concise, and engaging microcopy, including button labels, error messages, tooltips, onboarding flows, and help content. • Ensure consistent brand voice and tone across all user interfaces while maintaining clarity and ease of use. • Conduct content audits and work with stakeholders to improve the usability of existing content. • Test content with real users and iterate based on feedback to ensure optimal user experience. • Create content guidelines, style guides, and best practices for UX writing. • Advocate for the importance of UX writing within the design and development teams.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio of work. • Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and content strategy. • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and simply. • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is a plus. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. • Experience in user testing and iterating on content based on user feedback. • A passion for creating user-centered, impactful content. • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with content management systems (CMS). • Knowledge of accessibility best practices in digital content. • Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, or app-based environments.
