Nuvei (NASDAQ: NVEI) (TSX: NVEI) the Canadian fintech company accelerating the business of clients around the world. • Nuvei’s modular, flexible and scalable technology allows leading companies to accept next-gen payments, offer all payout options and benefit from card issuing, banking, risk and fraud management services. • Connecting businesses to their customers in more than 200 markets, with local acquiring in 47 markets, 150 currencies and 586 alternative payment methods, Nuvei provides the technology and insights for customers and partners to succeed locally and globally with one integration. • At Nuvei, we live our core values, and we thrive on solving complex problems. • We’re dedicated to continually improving our product and providing relentless customer service. • We are always looking for exceptional talent to join us on the journey! • As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Nuvei, you will: Manage and Scale Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee and optimize infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency. • Automate Infrastructure: Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform and Terragrunt. • Streamline Configuration and Image Building: Use Packer for creating machine images and Ansible for configuration management across diverse environments. • Optimize Kubernetes Operations: Manage and scale Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, applying best practices and leveraging tools like ArgoCD. • Enhance CI/CD Pipelines: Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to accelerate deployment cycles and ensure reliable delivery. • Build Robust Monitoring Systems: Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like DynaTrace, Splunk, and DataDog for proactive issue detection and resolution. • Lead Incident Response & RCA: Drive root cause analysis after incidents, implementing long-term fixes and improvements. • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development, QA, IT, and operations teams to align infrastructure requirements and ensure smooth application delivery. • Support Java-Based Applications: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java applications developed by the platform teams. • Utilize Scripting for Automation: Use scripting languages like Python to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system operations. • Participate in On-Call Rotation: Provide high-level on-call support as part of a 24x7 rotation to maintain production uptime.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on DevOps experience in fast-paced, high-scale environments, with at least 3+ years in a senior role. • Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS and Azure, including experience managing production environments at scale. • Infrastructure as Code: Mastery of tools like Terraform and Terragrunt to manage infrastructure as code. • Configuration & Automation: Strong skills in using Ansible for configuration management and Packer for image building. • Kubernetes Proficiency: Deep understanding of Kubernetes (preferably EKS) and experience with GitOps practices using ArgoCD. • CI/CD Knowledge: Expertise in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Azure DevOps. • Java Troubleshooting: Familiarity with Java applications and the ability to troubleshoot issues within Java-based systems. • Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation. • Operating Systems: Advanced knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments. • Problem-Solving Ability: A proven track record of resolving complex technical issues under pressure and leading root cause analysis efforts. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Team Player: A collaborative mindset to work closely with cross-functional teams. • Bonus: Experience in the fintech or payments industry, particularly with high-availability systems and compliance.
