Description

• Obol is a remote 30+ member research and software development team with a vision to establish a credibly neutral, trust-minimised infrastructure layer for web3. • Our work on distributed validators (DVs) boosts the security, resilience, and decentralisation of the Ethereum network. • The Obol Association supports the Obol Collective: a community dedicated to scaling Ethereum by strengthening the security, resiliency, and decentralisation of the consensus layer through the development and deployment of distributed validators. • Obol Association is a Swiss Association located in Zug, Switzerland. • The Obol Association aims to support the Obol Collective and is the steward of the Obol Protocol. • In support of its mission, the Obol Association will finance and support appropriate research and development activities and projects in the field of distributed software in particular consensus systems, threshold signature schemes and blockchains.

Requirements

• DAO Governance Tools Proficiency: Hands-on experience with DAO governance platforms (e.g., Snapshot, Tally, Boardroom) and familiarity with on-chain governance protocols. • Remote Communication Skills: Proven experience managing communications and achieving results in a remote, multi-stakeholder environment. • Project and Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading remote projects with diverse stakeholders. • Social Media Coordination: Experience in community engagement and coordination through social media channels (Twitter, Discord, Telegram), particularly within governance contexts. • Conflict Resolution and Diplomacy: Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex community dynamics diplomatically. • English Proficiency
