β’ We are seeking a Bookkeeper who understands basic accounting principles with strong Xero experience. β’ You will be working with the Finance Coordinator, an offshore Bookkeeper and an external accountant. β’ The role is 20 hours a week across, Monday to Friday, within business hours. β’ To maximise induction and familiarity for the initial duration, approx. 30 hours a week is to be anticipated. β’ Monthly reports β’ Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS to the external accountant β’ Work across multiple entities β’ Payment of invoices and issuing of invoices β’ Monthly journals β’ Process timesheets and payroll β’ Work with multiple currencies β’ Responding to all queries in a timely manner β’ Assisting in the preparation of financial and management reports β’ Ad-hoc administrative tasks
β’ Accounting background desired β’ Essential Xero experience β’ Clear strong communicator, both written and verbal β’ Superior time management and organisational skills β’ Strong computer skills with the use of Microsoft Word and Excel β’ Accuracy, good judgment and integrity β’ Self-motivated, enthusiastic with high customer services orientation (internal-external)
