• Octane® is revolutionizing recreational purchases by delivering a seamless, end-to-end digital buying experience. • As a Business Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and evolving digital collections platforms. • Demonstrates a sense of urgency, superb communication, and loves product challenges. • Responsibilities include managing standard operating procedures and collaborating closely with product managers and Risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Science, or a related field preferred. • 2+ years of experience in a role that offered hands-on experience on managing complex internal tools. • Exceptional Excel skills and hands-on experience programming in Python and SQL. • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of complex problems. • Great analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. • You obsess about continuous product improvement. • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done. • You are a systems thinker: you can envision how systems work together on top of sophisticated platforms to serve multiple user groups. • You are a creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with Engineering, Product, Analytics, and Risk. • You excel at navigating difficult tradeoffs. • Experience taking analyses from raw data to polished recommendations and communicating complex, technical findings to broad audiences. • Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments.
