📋 Description
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across OfferUp to design and implement new features. • Help maintain code quality in existing applications. • Create solutions and/or frameworks that make other team members better and faster • Participate in reasonable on-call rotations with the rest of the team
🎯 Requirements
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, of which at least 1 was devoted to web services • Experience with cloud infrastructure via AWS • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, and a track record of delivery • Passion for building new products in a fast paced, team-oriented environment • Strong coding skills in Java, Python, Scala, Golang or any other modern programming language coupled with strong knowledge in object-oriented design and microservices architecture • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Information Science, or a related discipline
