📋 Description
• Process Engineers at Oklo are responsible for the design, engineering analyses, systems engineering, specifications development, and operations of the fluid and power process systems used in Oklo’s power plants. • Design fluid and process systems including: piping, valves, compressors, pumps, and heat exchangers • Define process equipment architecture, specifications, operational modes, and performance criteria • Design, assemble, and operate prototypes to use for iterative design refinement • Generate documentation guiding the system layout, fabrication, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of process equipment • Serve as process system owner through multiple lifecycle stages • Generate technical documentation to be included in regulatory filings • Work with external vendors on process equipment analysis, procurement, and testing • Document work using modern tools and techniques, and compose well-written, thoughtful technical reports
🎯 Requirements
• Engineering education, potentially Mechanical, Materials, Petroleum, Aerospace, or Chemical • Experience performing design or modification engineering on process equipment, such as that used in the petroleum, nuclear, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries • Broad familiarity with engineering principles, and having strong systems engineering and operations intuition
