📋 Description
• This is a remote position. • Customer Service Consultation: Consult on a wide range of customer service issues to ensure the IDMS mainframe's responsiveness and availability. • Provide expert advice and solutions to address customer concerns and improve system performance. • System Monitoring and Support: Monitor the performance of IT systems to ensure effective and efficient operation. • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve system issues promptly. • System Administration and Maintenance: Perform routine administration and maintenance tasks to ensure the stability and reliability of the IDMS mainframe. • Implement updates, patches, and configuration changes as needed. • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize IT system performance. • Ensure high availability and minimal downtime for critical systems. • SFIS Architecture Study and Improvement: Study the organization's Standard Financial Information Structure (SFIS) architecture and design plan. • Provide recommendations and implement changes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience with mainframe IDMS. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proficiency in IDMS database management. • Strong understanding of mainframe environments and associated technologies. • Knowledge of SFIS architecture. • Experience working within the client or other government agencies. • Experience with SFIS architecture and its application within the federal client systems.
