Description

β€’ Works closely with the Product Manager and business stakeholders to define and prioritize the team’s feature backlog. β€’ Works closely with the Product Marketing Manager to understand the Insulet customer journey and product launch strategies that will impact business processes across the customer journey. β€’ Deeply understands customer needs, measures product performance, and delivers insights to inform product improvements and new capabilities. β€’ Evaluates business problems and desired outcomes, breaking down complex experiences to deliver digital improvements iteratively. β€’ Develops process flows to illustrate the impact on operations because of the new or improved capabilities. β€’ Defines features with acceptance criteria, dependencies, assumptions, risks, and success metrics. β€’ Works closely with technical architects to obtain high-level work estimation (t-shirt size) and solution designs for release planning. β€’ Provides input into release timelines and investigates alternate paths forward on potential timing options. β€’ Drives scope tradeoff evaluations on feature implementation. β€’ Participates in usability studies to bring voice of the customer on a feature to the team. β€’ Supports the Product Manager with business case development (both cost and value) for new opportunities and product improvements. β€’ Partners with Solution Leads to ensure design and development consistency across all work within the teams. β€’ Supports software/vendor selection processes when necessary. β€’ Serves as 1st escalation point for Product Owners of delivery teams (questions on feature refinement, solution options, and/or in sprint tradeoffs).

Requirements

β€’ Bachelor's degree and 5 + years of relevant work experience. β€’ 5 + years of experience using Agile methodologies, related to roles within a product team. β€’ Knowledgeable of IT systems development strongly preferred. β€’ Familiarity with Web and CRM platforms strongly preferred. β€’ Demonstrates strong communication skills with audiences with various levels of technical background. β€’ Proficiency and fluency in the English language. β€’ Experience using data and user insights to inform product decisions. β€’ Experience in digital customer experience/success is preferred. β€’ Demonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, growth industry and work environment. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills for complex business challenges. β€’ Passion to continuously improve processes and practices. β€’ Experience in the Medical Device industry is a plus. β€’ Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). β€’ Able to work independently with minimum supervision. β€’ Proactive at communicating with various stakeholders in the organization. β€’ Detail oriented, with effective verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Demonstrated abilities to leverage creativity in order to overcome obstacles and work with a sense of urgency. β€’ Able to organize and judge multiple priorities.
