Description

• Test various applications developed by the Data Software Engineering group • Build automation framework for testing mobile software and cloud services • Develop automated tests in conjunction with development efforts • Define the testing process used in the agile software development process • Develop and execute test suite for cloud based web service applications • Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects • Develop and maintain test database for automated validation of software revisions • Collaborate with Development, QA and IT teams • Participate in product design reviews • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar field • 5+ years of experience in software design and software testing • 5+ years hands on experience in testing web based applications • Strong software skills required, including Java, Junit or TestNG • Strong experience performing API Testing • Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, REST, SOA • Proficiency with source control, continuous integration and testing methods (i.e., Git, Perforce) • Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo • In depth knowledge of software testing methodology, test development, and test execution
