Description

• Lead One80’s compliance operations with a primary focus on surplus lines filings and carrier and producer appointments • Oversee surplus lines servicing team and outside vendor to ensure timely and accurate filings and state compliance • Work collaboratively with field offices to ensure best practices are in place for accurate and timely submission of filings • Maintain effective working relationship with Lloyd’s compliance function • Oversee carrier appointment function, ensuring appointments are accurate and reflect current organizational structure • Communicate information from state regulators; lead response to inquiries from regulators as needed

Requirements

• 8+ years of management or leadership experience within wholesale brokerage • Experience with surplus lines, carrier appointments, and/or producer appointments • Deep understanding of insurance compliance matters and issues • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, division management, compliance practitioners within the organization and outside parties • Ability to work effectively across organizational lines • Excellent organizational skills • Demonstrated technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-related software and portals
