Description

• Data entry, including maintaining accurate client account information in our system • Work with agents to complete surplus lines filings for non-admitted business • Obtain account information updates as needed • Update system database as information is received • Handling monthly compliance reports for surplus lines • Maintaining with Compliance Dept., licensing records and requirements for agents and insurance carriers • Respond to routine inquiries, refer complex circumstances to appropriate team member • Assemble policies when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred • Minimum of 2-3 years of P&C insurance industry experience required • Proficiency with Adobe and MS Excel • Demonstrated aptitude for computer-based work and time management • Ability to anticipate and solve problems creatively • Effective communication of key information • Ability to develop proactive working relationships with both internal and external customers • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to prioritize • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Ability to deal effectively with sale professionals, business owners, carrier representatives, and co-workers
