Description

• As a Senior QA at OneSeven, you will be an integral part of our growing QA team, testing web and mobile apps simultaneously through both manual and automated testing • You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, documenting them in our ticketing system ClickUp, setting up test automations for web and mobile apps • Develop/write and execute test cases, track bugs in CU, execute scripts, plans, and procedures for both web and mobile apps (manual and automated) • Research and find AI tools that can help QA team do the job faster and better, while minimizing manual repeatable work that can be done by AI • Collaborate with the project team to understand product changes and QA testing requirements to deal with issues/defects in a timely manner • Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, end to end testing and system testing • Work closely with the development team to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications • Collaborate with product teams and project managers to define and prioritize test scenarios • Document and maintain test processes and procedures • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues • Analyze test results and identify areas of improvement

Requirements

• Intermediate English level (important) • 4+ years of experience working in QA positions • Experience with test automation platforms, systems, and tools (Playwright, Cypress JMeter, Postman, K6, etc.) • Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium, etc.) • Experience with JavaScript frameworks for unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha etc.) • Experience with DevOps tools (Github Actions, CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.) • Experience with source control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.) • Experience with API testing • Knowledge of bug tracking and issue management tools (Click-Up, Jira, Linear, etc.) • Experience with test case management tools is a plus (TestRail, TestLodge, Qase, etc.) • Having an ISTQB Certificate is a plus • The ability to write, read, and understand code (Python, Typescript, Javascript, SQL, and others) is a plus • Experience with Pen Testing & Load Testing is a plus • Strong mentoring skills and leadership skills • Ability to quickly adapt, learn, and solve problems • Team player, willing to jump outside of their role to help the greater team • Ability to research as you work • Ability to be accountable for your own time in a fully remote environment • The desire to contribute to a growing, dynamic team and help shape process, practice, and operations • You will need to provide your own workspace with reliable Internet service • Agile + Scrum Methodology knowledge • You are passionate about the startup environment and eager to learn • You have a keen eye for detail and excel in documentation • You are highly organized and proficient in task management • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits

• Contract-based employment • Starting at $2,500 - $3,500 depending on qualifications and experience • There are currently NO formal benefits packages available (health insurance, retirement plans) • Paid Vacation Time and sick days • Fixed working hours 9am-5pm EST time • Monday-Friday • Trial period for 2 months after which we will reevaluate the contract • Active international young team of 20+ individuals that know how to work hard and play hard
