• OPEN Health brings together deep scientific knowledge, global understanding, and broad specialist expertise to support our clients in improving health outcomes and patient wellbeing. • We are united as one flexible organization, harnessing the power of the collective to solve complex challenges. • Our global team of experts works strategically alongside our client partners in Medical Affairs, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Market Access, and Commercial teams across a wide range of therapy areas. • This role will support the commercial teams only. • You will love this role if you enjoy writing medical communication deliverables, want opportunities for continued training/development, excel at communicating complex scientific ideas, take pride in producing accurate, high-quality content, seek a dynamic role, enjoy delving into therapy areas while gaining experience in new areas, and want to share your expertise. • As part of the OPEN Health Medical Writing Team, you'll be responsible for providing research and writing support to assigned brand teams and new business efforts. • You will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes a medical director, editor, graphic designers, and account and project personnel. • You will produce slide presentations, executive meeting summaries, and other materials while ensuring they meet client specifications and industry guidelines. • This role involves interacting with key experts, researching medical topics, and developing in-depth knowledge in relevant therapy areas.
🎯 Requirements
• A strong scientific understanding (PharmD or PhD preferred) and excellent writing skills • Multiple years of agency experience drafting Medical Communication documents • Ability to interpret and write from clinical trial protocols, statistical analysis plans, and clinical study reports • Good ability to interpret and describe scientific statistics • Proficiency in communicating complex scientific ideas and statistical analyses in a simple, concise, and accurate manner • Flair for managing multiple competing priorities with an ability to delegate, prioritize, problem solve, and set expectations • Confidence and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and key experts • Acceptance and application of constructive feedback from the medical director, authors, and clients • Enthusiasm, team-player attitude, and self-motivation • Proficiency with PubMed searches and MS365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including figure and table development
