📋 Description
• Founded in 2015 with the mission to protect the open economy, OpenZeppelin is the world leader in securing blockchain applications and smart contracts. • OpenZeppelin’s professional expertise integrates through clients’ development lifecycles, so teams can plan, code, audit, deploy and operate projects faster and more safely. • As the company’s Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day financial operations of the company, including accounting, reporting, tax compliance and payments among others. • You must be knowledgeable in both US and UK GAAP and tax regulations and have experience working in the crypto industry.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. • CPA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent certification preferred. • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in blockchain/web3. • Experience with US and UK GAAP and tax regulations as they relate to cryptocurrency. • Experience with financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes. • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision. • Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting. • Fluent in English
