Description

• Join our dynamic team as a News Content Editor, where you'll play a pivotal role in curating high-impact articles for Opera News across the German market. • Working remotely from Germany, you'll collaborate with an international team dedicated to delivering top-quality content to our users. • Manage daily operations of news and video content for Opera News in the German market, oversee trending news topics and perform content analysis to improve content quality and product data. • Assist in ASO optimization work of Opera News on Google Play and App Store, improve user download conversion rates, natural amount, and ratings. • Design growth-related promotional activities based on holiday hotspots and product features, and effectively facilitate their implementation. • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, establish content optimization strategies to boost long-term product retention. • Maintain user feedback and boost user satisfaction rates. • Assist with social media content, improve engagement and fan growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preference for degrees in journalism or similar fields, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. • Keen interest in Germany´s current affairs and ability to respond to unexpected events, excellent knowledge of Germany´s local culture and understanding of local readers’ news preferences. • Regular user of news-related products, well-versed in gathering news, with a keen eye for newsworthy content. • Highly driven, responsible and meticulous, possessing strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills. • Proficient in data analysis, able to continually identify new areas of business growth based on business data. • Preference will be given to candidates with prior internet industry experience.
