Description

• We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Backend/DevOps Engineer to join our growing Tech Team at Oppizi. • This is a remote position open and limited only to candidates across Europe to work with the team spread across the continent • Job type - Full-time • Seniority level - Senior • Work type - Remote position - Europe • Schedule - Monday to Friday, fixed hours (09:00 - 18:00) • Expected start date - ASAP • Candidate location - Europe • Our team is always searching for innovative ideas and developments in marketing and product features. • Our developers work on challenging projects to innovate our platform and benefit our customers and partners. • The future recruit will build, maintain, and evolve our systems and the related tools. • The position is fully remote. • We do a retrospective stand-up every day, i.e. talk about what you worked on yesterday. • We’re all remote so it’s important to keep the communication up, and our team is distributed between Australia and Ukraine. • You will be working with different extensive environments, including Platform, API, and Mobile App.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and the ECMAScript 6 standards • 8+ years of commercial experience with Node.js • Strong experience with AWS and other infrastructure-related technologies like Kubernetes • Excellent communication skills, especially in understanding requirements and explaining technical or complex concepts • Demonstrate a pervasive experience in JavaScript • Experience with infrastructure development • Experience and pragmatism in testing • Commercial experience in implementing the REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets • Understanding of the TDD principles and experience of writing tests • Understanding of microservice architecture principles • Understanding of clean architecture principles • Experience with GIT version control system • Experience with databases MongoDB, MySQL • At least an Upper Intermediate level of English • Experience with TypeScript • Ability to efficiently learn new tools and languages • Experience with RabbitMQ • Experience with Redis • Experience with Python
