Description
• Develop scalable applications: Architect and develop high-performance web applications using PHP, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. • Lead headless eCommerce projects: Spearhead headless implementations, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend services. • Custom development: Build custom functionalities and modules for eCommerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento, and WooCommerce. • Data migration expertise: Execute complex data migration projects, accurately transferring large datasets across platforms. • API & microservice development: Design and optimize APIs, microservices, and backend processes to facilitate smooth platform integrations. • Code enhancement & troubleshooting: Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing code to improve performance and scalability. • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with project managers, front-end developers, and UX/UI designers to deliver complete and optimized solutions. • Stay current: Keep up with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. • Code quality: Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and promotes sustainability.
Requirements
• 7+ years of professional backend development experience with a focus on PHP. • Expertise in PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony. • Proven experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, or Magento, with specific knowledge of their APIs and headless architectures. • Strong expertise in building and consuming APIs, microservices, and handling third-party integrations. • Experience in data migration projects involving large datasets. • Proficient with Git and version control systems. • Familiarity with Search Engine technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Algolia, Meilisearch). • Knowledge of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached). • Strong grasp of SQL, NoSQL, and database optimization techniques. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
