Description

• The team is looking for a SDET to help build an exciting new product. • As a key contributor to the new product, you will play a critical role in developing test cases and establishing QA processes and standards. • Leading further adoption and maturity of test automation processes, TDD, and QA metrics reporting. • Implementing techniques and methods to identify and prevent software regressions. • Managing requirements traceability and tracking feature completion using test cases captured in Azure Test Plans / Test Suites. • Developing automated test cases in Cypress for new functionality based on user stories and acceptance criteria. • Creating and reviewing bug reports and sharing quality metrics with team and stakeholders. • Identifying bugs, application weaknesses and target areas. • Maintaining test case code quality as per set guideline and standards. • Performing manual QA as needed. • Participating in agile ceremonies. • Reporting progress to Scrum Master, Tech Lead, and Product Owner. • Collaborating with Design, Product, Developers, and other QA’s to solve problems and resolve bugs.

Requirements

• 4+ of experience as a QA engineer • 3+ years using Cypress or a similar automation testing framework • Strong experience with functional testing, UI testing, API testing, and regression testing • Familiar with frontend frameworks such as React.js • Experience with open source • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Excellent communication and teamwork skills • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum • Startup experience preferred
