Description

• Counsel national and regional business teams on statutory/regulatory obligations • Manage building legal strategies in jurisdictions with IDR engagement • Be the national subject matter expert for legal areas important to the business enterprise • Provide written and oral legal advocacy in federal and state IDR matters • Manage defensive arbitration and litigation and protect rights in contract negotiations

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school • Law license in good standing • 6+ years of relevant experience at a top tier law firm, in-house counsel, insurance regulatory agency and/or legislative committee • Familiarity with the No Surprises Act and state-based surprise billing arbitration statutes and regulations • Strategic thinker with experience evaluating and determining legal course of action to meet our needs
