Description

• Building data pipelines and developing API-based backend services • Collaborating with engineering teams for data requirements • Designing and operating data-intensive microservices • Maintaining data processing pipelines from the osmosis blockchain • Troubleshooting complex multi-threaded production issues • Benchmarking and optimizing code paths • Developing secure and scalable backend services and APIs • Designing a real-time streaming system for blockchain data • Improving protocol observability with monitoring tools

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional software development experience in data-intensive applications • Solid understanding of Backend and Data Engineering principles • Appreciation for performance-oriented code and familiarity with algorithms • Intuition around debugging live production issues • Strong understanding of distributed systems • Strong programming skills, preferably in Go, Python, and/or Rust • Experience in running and operating production workloads • Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases • Passionate about blockchains and decentralized technology • Excellent communication skills • Proactive problem-solving and ownership of tasks
