Description

• Coordinate and execute the SCADA process on Utility and DG Solar, Wind, BESS, and Hybrid Power Plants • Technically supervise and lead the implementation on multiple utility scale renewable projects • Review and approve SCADA Design packages and create point lists with vendors • Oversee and support system installation and integration, site commissioning and troubleshooting • Support testing with various interconnection utilities and NERC testing requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience • Hands-on SCADA design and testing experience with a minimum of 5+ years • Familiarity with at least one SCADA Platform including Ignition, GE Cimplicity, SEL, Wonderware, etc. • Familiarity with grid interconnection SCADA telemetry and control requirements • Experience in integration of relevant SCADA communication protocols • Understanding of NERC compliance from the SCADA perspective • Project Management experience balancing multiple consultants and EPCs • Strong communication skills to lead technical discussions among SCADA stakeholders • Ability to develop simple PSCAD model based on site single/3 line drawings
