📋 Description
• Gain hands-on experience in non-profit communications work. • Responsibilities may include: monitoring news outlets, editing web communications, writing articles, generating content for Outright's website, conducting research, social media-related activities, planning events.
🎯 Requirements
• Experience in digital media for school or other newspaper in order to produce short articles on Outright issues with subject guidance. • Information synthesis and copy-editing skills. • Research experience, as needed for opinion pieces, infographics, press releases. • Interest in/familiarity with global media. • Experience in graphic/web design and media making a plus. • Experience in videography/photography a plus. • Individuals with a particular interest in non-profit communications as well as individuals with spoken or written proficiency in multiple languages are encouraged to apply.
