• To build a healthier future for all! • Our mission is to provide the most accessible and effective care to people with weight-related conditions. • We create affordable and accessible app-based healthcare programmes to tackle conditions such as obesity and Type 2 diabetes. • You will be joining an organisation that has treated over 500,000 patients to date. • The role: We are looking for a Data Scientist within our Clinical Research and Innovation workstreams to drive Oviva’s mission of enhancing long-term health outcomes through advanced data-driven strategies. • Collaborating closely with clinical trial managers, clinical leads, project managers and clinical quality experts, your role will involve designing and implementing experiments, clinical trial data management and conducting advanced statistical analysis, and communicating impactful insights.

Requirements

• A strong foundation in the theoretical and practical aspects of Statistical Analysis and Data Analysis. • Proven experience in analysing large datasets to extract actionable insights, using statistical and machine learning techniques. • Good programming skills - we use R and Python for data analysis and modelling. • SQL proficiency and experience with Data Warehousing Technology (BigQuery is a plus). • Passionate about experimenting with the latest data processing, storage, and analytics technologies. • Excellent communication skills in English. • Strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership. • General understanding of software engineering and web standards. • Proven experience in applying causal inference techniques in a business or research setting, demonstrating your ability to extract and communicate causal insights. • A background in cloud computing and how to utilise them in real use cases. • Experience with Google Cloud stack preferred. • Previous experience in health/medical/pharma domains is a plus. • Proficiency in German is an advantage.
