Description

• Improve automation and standardisation across the engineering department • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the DevOps practice • Empower other teams to be as independent as possible by providing supportive tooling • Ensure high availability of the infrastructure by leveraging site reliability engineering (SRE) best practices • Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (Github Actions)

Requirements

• Proficiency in automation and tooling, including scripting and CI/CD tools • Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, Prometheus • Proven familiarity with operating system and computer network essentials (DNS, TLS and HTTP) • Skills in monitoring system health, identifying issues, and implementing solutions • Good communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders • Desirable: Good programming and scripting skills in Go, Python or Bash • Experience with either cloud or other managed infrastructure • Experience in managing a micro service based technology landscape
