• Collaborate with our team to design the future of the product • Work with design team to maintain product requirements • Apply engineering best practices throughout development, testing, and deployment phases • Help to grow the engineering team by valuing diversity and unique perspectives • Translate design into code using engineering best practices • Strong proficiency in Python and Python service frameworks • Experience developing streaming services using websockets and Kafka • Experience building APIs using GraphQL, REST, and/or Protocol Buffers • Experience shipping and deploying code in a production product • Strong communication skills and high-EQ

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field • Minimum 4 years of relevant industry experience • Strong ability to translate design into code using engineering best practices • Strong proficiency in Python and Python service frameworks such as Celery and Flask • Experience developing streaming services leveraging real-time communications protocols such as websockets and Kafka • Experience building API's using GraphQL, REST, and/or protocols such as Protocol Buffers • Experience shipping and deploying code in a production product • Strong communicator with high-EQ and people skills • Experience in Early-stage startups • Ruby, Java or Scala experience
